The Goblin King promises Sarah his all if she surrenders herself to him and in return he would willingly give up Sarah’s baby brother for her place.

Discovery of the presence of the Goblin King confronting her once and for all after a long journey in the Labyrinth turns Sarah into desperation and pleading.
Sarah: “You’re him, aren’t you? You’re the Goblin King! I want my brother back, please, if it’s all the same.”
Jareth: “What’s said is said.”
Sarah: “But, I didn’t mean it.”

The Labyrinth
Representing a huge hurdle to retrieving her baby brother from the powerful Goblin King Jareth, weaving through his lair is not as simple as it seems. Thus the Labyrinth proves inescapable and at times, the fastidious Sarah is tried into mind bending games for her to solve on her own.
The Beautiful and Innocent Sarah
Played by a fifteen year old Jennifer Connelly her charm and beauty makes her the perfect object of the Goblin King’s affection. He tries to put her in a trance like state and promises her everything if she obeys all his commands. Sarah is sweet and promising and nothing could prepare her more than the challenge of the Labyrinth and its ruler the Goblin King.
The unique facets of the movie entangle and seem to remain in ones consciousness even when the end credits roll. If the Return of the Goblin King is truly forthcoming then the pieces of the story can unfold once again with a tumultuous or happy ending much like the original one. This epic story is worth retelling and sure to compare with no less than the prequel to leave us spellbound once again.
